Philip Seely has been helping Florida borrowers navigate the mortgage process since 1993 — more than 30 years of experience working with veterans, first-time homebuyers, self-employed borrowers, and families across the state. He is the President and Broker Owner of PHILANYA, INC., a 100% Veteran-Owned independent mortgage brokerage headquartered in Saint Augustine, Florida.

As an independent broker, Philip works with multiple wholesale lenders rather than a single institution. That means borrowers get options — not a single product pushed by one bank. His guiding principle: lenders compete, you win.

Philip began his career as a mortgage loan officer in 1993, building a practice grounded in education, transparency, and long-term client relationships. Over three decades he has guided borrowers through VA loans, FHA and USDA programs, conventional financing, HELOCs, reverse mortgages, down payment assistance programs, and commercial lending.

He founded PHILANYA, INC. on March 11, 2015, with a mission rooted in his military background: serve people well, explain the process clearly, and let the results speak for themselves.

Philip's commitment to financial literacy extends beyond mortgage lending. He teaches two paid classes:

• Mastering QuickBooks — practical bookkeeping and financial reporting for Florida small business owners, self-employed professionals, and independent contractors

• MLO Bootcamp — a three-day training program for career changers, veterans, and real estate professionals pursuing a Florida Mortgage Loan Officer license through NMLS
